How to get rid of Lizards?
Lizards are one of the most common reptiles that could be seen crawling on the walls and sometimes even on the ground in common household. There is a huge disliking for the reptile in people for reasons that vary from person to person. It is not at all capable of major harm rather proves beneficial by eating away the insects, cockroaches, spiders and other such species. But all this is of no use because whatever benefits we can derive from the creature the repulsion it creates is much mightier than that. Ways to get rid of LizardsThe most suggested way to get rid of this freaky stuff is by removing the food it takes. In easier terms if your house is free from insects, spiders’ etc lizards will not be able to derive their food and thus will not inhabit your home. The methods to remove the food for them are too many and are not a matter of concern here. The house should be kept clean and tidy all the time so that uninvited insects do not enter. The places which are favorite spots of lizards to enter your house must be closed or kept an eye on such as ceiling ventilators, windows, porches etc. for your yard also the same measure should be taken but the approach is a little different. Tips for getting rid of LizardsThe yard should be kept clean and stagnant water must not be there as it attracts a huge insect population and lure the lizards. No flashy lights should be used as it attracts a large number of insects that love light and attract lizards. Instead yellow or sodium light can be used. The use of incense also works great to drive the crawling lizards outside your home. Another option is to catch the lizards yourself or get it caught by some experts and release the at a remote location. The use of repellants is also an option but there are not a large number of commercial lizard repellants available in the market so try the option only if the other methods fail to make an impact. |
