How to get rid of Frogs?

Coping With the Frog Problem

Frogs are mostly harmless creatures that help and benefit the environment. Their food is basically the small insects found in streams, creeks, rivers or ponds. Presence of few frogs in small water bodies of our locality can actually keep a good check on the number of flies and mosquitoes emerging from the water bodies. Most of these insects are harmful and carrier of dreaded diseases. Thus frogs play an important role in the ecosystem. The problem arises due to the fact that frogs can multiply at a great rate and can produce discomfort due to their loud croaks. So there are certain measures which can control this problem to occur.

Stay away from Killing for Frogs

Whatever measures we take to control the problem that the frog creates should not involve indiscriminate killing of the creature as that will affect us and the environment in an ugly manner. If frog population in a water body is multiplying too fast such that they are entering your premises and causing disturbance at night due to their noisy croaks, any of the following methods will work.

The best measure will be to kill the insects due to which they will be unable to find food. To remove insects we can use organic and natural insecticides, prevent the water to get stagnant at a place for a long duration. Some other measures to get rid of frogs is build a high plastic or mesh fence that they cannot leap across, use hot water sprayer due to which they will sense danger and evacuate your premises, utilize caffeine or citric acid with the sprayer which turns them off and thus prevents them from breeding and spawning and lastly when the problem ceases to end an exterminator can be called up by contacting the pest control to bring an end to the problem.
