When your nose bleeds, follow these

How To Stop Nose Bleeding?

Nose is a very sensitive part of the body. Any exertion or force it tends to injure it and leads to bleeding in normal case. A bleeding nose is always very scary and dangerous. There are plenty of nerves that end or have their ending in the nose. Thus any damage to the nose tends to damage the nerves along with.

There are many other factors also that lead to nose bleeding apart from injury. These are: Infection in the nose, Nose digging, High blood pressure, Allergy, Reaction of excessive alcohol, Tumors, Reaction of unsuited medicine, and many more.

First and foremost a step that one should follow while the nose is bleeding is to stand or elevate the head so that the blood flows backwards. Keeping the head region higher than heart, helps in minimizing the bleeding.

Then slowly press the soft region of the nose firmly and breathe normally. This will make the blood flow backward and will stop bleeding. Also take a tissue and moisten it and stick it on the nose.

After the bleeding stopped, one requires following certain steps:

Clean up the external part of the nose gently, but avoid the inner region. Do not touch or rub the nose unnecessarily. Keep the head in the elevated position for a long period. If you feel like sneezing, open up your mouth, but in any case do not pressurize the nostrils. Do not smoke or drink after nose bleeding.

Do not lift any heavy object or put pressure on the head. Putting head lower than heart level should also be avoided. Avoid any such medicine that thins the blood. Stay on cool diet. No hot diet for at least for 24 hours of bleeding.
