Herbal Home remedies for the natural treatment of Abscess
Curd : If there is swelling, pain and burning because of the abscess, apply curd after straining out the water content. For it put the curd in a piece of cloth and hand it on a peg. The water will drip away. Apply the curd on the abscess and bandage it. Change the bandage thrice in a day. Natural home remedy help in reducing abscess.
Caraway seeds : In case of swelling because of an abscess or whelk, grind caraway seeds in lemon juice and apply.
Good home remedy provide relief from abscess Grind 175 gms. of neem leaves without adding water and make a paste. Pour similar quantity of mustard oil in a copper utensil and heat it. When the oil is quite hot, put the paste in it. When it gets blackened. Remove it from stove and let it cool down. Then grind it in the same oil. The ointment will be ready. Apply this on the abscesses and whelks.
Green grass : Regular application of the paste made of green grass on an abscess allows it to suppurate and burst.
Clay : If the abscess is big and hard and it does not burst, apply wet soil on it. The abscess will burst and the pus will come out. Keep using wet soil pads on the abscess for sometime.
Basil : Boil basil leaves in water and wash the abscesses with it. Grind fresh basil leaves and apply on the abscesses. Mix 250 gms. each of the juice of basil leaves and coconut oil, heat it on slow fire. When the water gets evaporated, add 12 gms. of wax in it and stir. The application of this ointment will be beneficial. Effective home remedy help in curing abscess.
Ointment for Abscesses and Whelks : Abscesses and whelks are caused by disorders of the blood. The wounds do not heal easily. Application of neem ointment on them is beneficial.
Henna : Boil henna in water and wash the abscess with the boiled henna water.

Traditional home remedy help in treating abscess Neem : Grind neem leaves in water and apply the paste on the abscess. It is beneficial in the initial stages. If you find the abscess is not likely to subside or if it has not reached the stage of suppuration, grind neem leaves with honey and apply on the abscess. It will suppurate and burst. After it has burst, grind neem leaves, heat it with clarified butter and apply on the wound. It will facilitate its healing. Grind neem bark in water and apply on the whelks. Boil neem leaves in water and wash the wound with it. It is beneficial to heat neem leaves and swathe them on the wounds.
